Tectonomagmatic settings of Jurassic granitoids in the Sanandaj-Sirjan Zone, Iran: A review

چکیده

Abstract The present paper discusses the geochemical affinities, origin and ages of Jurassic granitoids Sanandaj-Sirjan Zone (SaSZ) in eastern part Zagros Thrust Zone. A multidisciplinary, integrated approach was carried out using existing granitoid data (major, trace, rare earth element isotopes) knowledge regional geology (geodynamic metamorphic setting), coupled with geophysical (magnetic susceptibility) from SaSZ. We re-interpret re-classify this zone into three main genetic groups: S-type, I-type A-type subduction-related ones. In central to southern (between Hamadan Sirjan), S-type magmatism appeared between 178 160 Ma during Cimmerian orogeny, due continental collision. To north Sanandaj Ghorveh), occurred 158 145 Ma. This heterogenic tectonomagmatic system along SaSZ suggests a subcontinental lithospheric mantle, resulting two zones (1) Sanandaj-Ghorveh (2) Hamadan-Sirjan
